It all comes down to this. Round 11 of the 2026 AMA Pro Motocross Championship — the Ironman National at Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville, Indiana — and the 250 class arrives at the season finale with one of the tightest title fights of the year still very much alive. Moto 1 at Ironman is the beginning of the end for the 2026 outdoor season and the 250 class delivered from the very first gate drop.
250 Class Moto 1 — Ironman
Cole Davies arrives at Ironman holding a 14-point lead over Levi Kitchen in the 250 championship standings — 378 points to 364. It is an advantage but it is not a comfortable one. In motocross 14 points can evaporate in a single moto and Kitchen has shown all season long that he is capable of exactly that kind of swing. Chance Hymas, fresh off the Budds Creek overall win, also lines up at Ironman in the form of his life and will not be content to play a supporting role in someone else’s championship story.
Moto 1 at Ironman sets the tone for everything. A strong result for Davies tightens his grip on the title. A big result for Kitchen keeps the pressure on all the way to the final lap of Moto 2. Watch the full Moto 1 in the video above and see how the 250 championship fight opened at the Ironman National.
The Season Finale — Everything on the Line
Ironman Raceway is the perfect venue to decide a championship. The Indiana track is technical, physical, and demanding in all the right ways — a layout that rewards consistency and punishes mistakes, which is exactly what a title-deciding round should do. The 250 field that has raced eleven rounds across an entire summer comes to Crawfordsville knowing that everything they have worked for since Fox Raceway in May comes down to two motos here.
