Round 4 of the 2026 AMA Pro Motocross Championship is underway at High Point Raceway and the 250 class opened the Pennsylvania weekend with a Moto 1 that delivered everything this track is known for. Fast, aggressive racing on one of the most demanding layouts on the outdoor calendar — and a 250 field that is getting more competitive with every single round.
250 Class Moto 1 — High Point
High Point in Moto 1 condition is a fast track — but it demands respect from the opening lap. The elevation changes are relentless and the surface, while still relatively clean early in the day, already challenges riders to find the right lines and commit to them. The 250 field came out swinging and the racing was sharp from the gate drop all the way to the checkered flag.
The usual names at the front of the 250 class were in the mix as expected — but High Point has a way of throwing surprises into the order, and Moto 1 was no exception. Watch the full moto in the video above and see how it all played out on the Pennsylvania hillside.
The 250 Title Fight at Round 4
Four rounds into the 2026 outdoor season and the 250 championship is in full swing. The points battle is tight and every moto carries real weight. Riders like Levi Kitchen, Jordon Smith, and the rest of the contenders know that a strong result at High Point can shift the momentum heading into the second half of the season. Missing points here is not an option for anyone with title ambitions.
High Point consistently produces some of the most physical racing of the outdoor season — and the 250 class in Moto 1 showed exactly why this round is one of the highlights of the entire calendar.
