250 Moto 2 at Thunder Valley — and the 2026 AMA Pro Motocross Championship has its Round 3 results locked in for the small bore class. The final moto of the Colorado weekend brought everything that makes the 250 class special: relentless pace, hard charging, and racing that goes down to the wire.
250 Class Moto 2 — Thunder Valley
Moto 2 at altitude is a different kind of suffer. The track is rough, the air is thin, and the legs that felt strong in Moto 1 are now being pushed to their absolute limit. In the 250 class there is nowhere to hide — the racing is close, the passes are real, and every rider on the gate is giving everything they have until the checkered flag flies.

Three Rounds Down — The 250 Title Fight Is Real
With Thunder Valley in the books the 250 championship picture is coming into sharper focus. Three rounds of racing have sorted the field and the riders who are genuinely in title contention are starting to separate themselves. The points gap at the top of the standings will play a big role in how the rest of the season unfolds — and every moto from here on out carries extra weight.
Thunder Valley delivered again. A brutal track, a hungry 250 field, and a championship that is very much alive heading into the next round.
