Round 3 at Thunder Valley closes out with 450 Moto 2 — and the premier class wrapped up the Colorado weekend with a final moto that had championship implications written all over it. A deteriorating track, thin air, and tired legs made for exactly the kind of brutal, hard-fought racing that Thunder Valley is known for delivering.

450 Class Moto 2 — Thunder Valley

By the time the 450s lined up for Moto 2 at Thunder Valley, the track had taken a beating. The smooth lines from earlier in the day were gone, replaced by deep ruts and rough chop that tested every rider on the gate. Add the altitude factor into the mix and Moto 2 at Thunder Valley becomes one of the most physically demanding motos of the entire outdoor season.

Round 3 Done — The Championship Rolls On

Three rounds into the 2026 AMA Pro Motocross season and the 450 championship standings are telling a story. Thunder Valley has a reputation for reshuffling the order — and Moto 2 here is always where that happens. The points from Colorado will matter when the title fight reaches its climax later in the summer.

With Thunder Valley in the books the series now turns its attention to the rounds ahead. The 2026 outdoor season is building momentum and the racing is only getting better as the championship heats up.
