Hunter Lawrence, Jett Lawrence, Jorge Prado, Haiden Deegan, and Chase Sexton all know that what happens in Southern California this weekend will define who arrives at the Thunder Ridge finale with the upper hand in the championship fight.
The Lawrence brothers have been the story of the 2026 season from start to finish — from a one-point outdoor championship battle at Ironman all the way to the SMX Playoffs. Whatever the standings look like after Moto 2 tonight in Carson will determine everything about how the finale plays out. The championship that has been decided by the narrowest of margins all season long is heading to one final showdown in the Ozarks.
