The 450 class is at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena for the 2026 SMX World Championship Final — and the premier class title fight heading into tonight’s finale is as tight as it gets. Jorge Prado leads the 450SMX standings and needs only a third place finish or better to clinch the World Championship. But in motocross nothing is guaranteed and Haiden Deegan, Hunter Lawrence, and Ken Roczen are all capable of making Prado’s night very difficult in the Missouri Ozarks.
450 Class Moto 1 — SMX World Championship Final
Prado arrives at Thunder Ridge 16 points clear in the standings after a composed 2-2 performance at Carson last weekend — but with triple points on offer at the finale that cushion can evaporate in a single moto. Hunter Lawrence, the 450MX outdoor champion who dominated the summer at Fox Raceway through to Ironman, bounced back strongly in Carson with a moto win and is the biggest threat to Prado’s championship ambitions tonight. Haiden Deegan won the Columbus opener and has been consistently fast across all three Playoff rounds. Ken Roczen, who opened Carson with a moto victory, is also firmly in the conversation at Thunder Ridge.
The Thunder Ridge hybrid track is a true SMX layout — fast, technical, and set within one of the most spectacular natural venues the World Championship has ever visited. Moto 1 at the finale sets the championship tone and the 450 class delivered from the very first gate drop in Missouri.
